Who are you to tell yourself that you are not good enough?
We live in a time where there are standards for everything. We’re told what an “ideal” man or woman should be like. What physique we should have. What facial features we should have. What grades we should have. What careers we should have. How much money we should have. How many clothes we should have.
I want to tell you something society fails to accept: there is no such thing as an ideal person. That “ideal person” that they talk about does not exist. There is no human in the world who is 100% perfect in every single field. That person will never exist.
Stop trying to become that person. And more importantly, stop bruising yourself trying to fit into that mold.
You are exactly how God fashioned you. He created you with purpose. He chose YOU to be a living, breathing, human being, specifically in this era, specifically with your mind and thought processes, specifically with your qualities. Everything about you and your entire life was planned out by the only flawless being. Who is anyone to tell you you are lacking? That you are less than what you’re “supposed to be”?
Who are you to tell yourself that you need to be like these fictional people you keep hearing about? Who are you to tell yourself that you are not good enough? You are good enough. Better.
Everyone lacks in one of those “ideal” things. Those are not weaknesses. Those are things you just don’t need. They don’t contribute to your perfection.
